We have missed you!  

Kudos will be opening June 4.  Our hours will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from noon to 5 PM. 

We will be taking precautions to safeguard both you and our staff as follows:

• Both staff and customers will be required to wear masks.
• A Plexiglas shield will separate customers from staff at checkout.
• Hand sanitizer will be available for customers to use both upon entry and leaving Kudos.
• Sales desk and credit card machine will be disinfected after each customer checkout.
• Social distancing will be required.
• Number of customers allowed in Kudos at a given time will be five.

Other days of the week except Sunday will be appointment only by calling 740-501-8586.

Of course, all this is subject to change starting with July and dependent on what course the virus takes.

Art Classes being offered at Kudos

Ever wanted to take an art class? Here’s your chance. Kudos comprised of 22 local artists is now offering classes. Kathleen and Rebecca are amazing artists (see flyer) and are now offering classes. SUMMER CELEBRATION, FIRST FRIDAY, JUNE 7, 5-8PM

Hello Kudos Customers -

It's First Friday this Friday night, June 7, from 5-8pm.  We are so excited!  First Fridays at Kudos are always fun affairs.  This Friday, there will be free face painting for children and children-at-heart adults.  

Kudos will serve wonderful snacks.  There will be wine for adults.

Of course, the main attraction at Kudos is the wonderful art of our 22 local artists.  See you Friday evening!

First Friday, April 5, 2019

Hello Kudos Customers -

How quickly First Fridays roll around!  This Friday, April 5, is First Friday.  We will be celebrating Spring (Is it here yet???) and Easter.  Many other downtown Mount Vernon shops will be open as well, so plan to make an evening of this First Friday.  First Friday hours are 5-8pm.

For the kiddies, Kudos will be hold a Find the Duck contest very similar to Where's Waldo.  Children will come in and look for a hidden rubber duck.  If found, Kudos will initial their card.  The first several children who participate in Find the Duck at Kudos will receive a yellow rubber duck.

Artists on hand to chat with you about their work are Helen Neumann, our magnificent water colorist, and Bill Ernst, our wonderful photographer.  I'm certain several other Kudos artists will be present as well.

As usual, Kudos will be serve refreshments including wine.  See you at Kudos!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KUDOS

Hello Kudos Friends -

Come have a piece of birthday cake and glass of wine with us this First Friday, March 1, as Kudos celebrates its 8th birthday.  Can't believe it, but Kudos 8th Anniversary is March 1, 2019.

We now have 24 local artists representing mediums of:

Kudos moved into a new space, 10 S Main, next to the Grand, in April and love it. It is three times the size of our original location and has a classroom for our artists to utilize in offering classes.

Again, come join us First Friday, March 1, to help us celebrate our 8th Birthday. We will serve great snacks and wine! Several artists will be on hand to share information about their art and Helen Neumann, expert watercolorist, will be demonstrating.

First Friday, January 4, 2019

Attention Kudos friends : First Friday’s are now carrying on throughout the year. Please help get the word out!!! Shops will be open with various activities planned by each one.

Kudos will be open this First Friday, Jan 4, from 5-8pm. That’s tomorrow!!!

Artists Helen Huhn Neumann, watercolorist, and Jeff Barcus, woodworker, will be on hand to answer questions about their work. Helen will also be demonstrating watercolor painting.

Stop by to chat, watch Helen demo, and grab a snack or two.
