Come join us for another First Friday at Kudos. However, this isn't just another First Friday with wonderful snacks, wonderful art, and wonderful Kudos members waiting to welcome you. No, it's all that and more! This First Friday nine of Kudos amazing artists will set up tables on the street in front of Kudos where they will have samples of their art and will demonstrate and/or talk about their process. The nine artists and their mediums are: Jami Ingledue, soap; Bill Ernst, photography; Ken Shaffer, wood carving; Cindy Ruckman, fiber; Chris Aust, pottery; Elizabeth Hartley, stained glass; Gail LaBenne, etched glass; Linda Smith, pottery; and Mary McGavick, chainmail jewelry.
Kudos is an artist co-operative in central Ohio featuring the work of twenty artists. There is a wide range of medium represented in the gallery - glass, sculpture, textiles, paper, clay, furniture, wood, & handmade soap.

Kudos celebrated its 3rd Anniversary on March 1, 2014.
We have three wonderful new artists at Kudos.
Jim
Eliopulos creates beautiful wooden bowls and vessels using
local as well as exotic woods. He started with Kudos March 1. Jim
received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University and taught English at
Bexley High School then communications at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Retired from teaching, Jim now devotes full time to bowl making.
Dee
Organ, an accomplished artist, makes angels from stained glass and
slices of semi-precious stone. Kudos also has a collection of Dee's
angel nightlights. Dee has taught stained glass at several venues and
currently teaches at the Knox County Career Center.
Chris
Bunn is an amazing watercolorist who joined Kudos April 1. Chris is
well-known in Ohio for her wonderful work. She taught high school art
for many years at East Knox High School. Her students always won high
honors at the annual Ohio Governor's Art Show.

FIRST FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 6-9PM
Hello Friends -
Don't miss out on the fun things planned for this First Friday, Oct 4. It's the last one of 2013. The shops in the “Very Short North” are sponsoring a pumpkin decorating contest. Drop your decorated pumpkin off to The Smiling Sunflower or Down Home Leather on Oct. 3 or 4 before 4 p.m. Prizes are awarded for Most Original, Scariest and Funniest. Two ages classes will be judged: ages 5-12 and ages 13 to adult. Children ages 5-12 will receive a small prize just for participating.
Kudos, 15 N Main, will welcome visitors with watercolor demonstrations by artists Helen Neumann and Sue Simon. The work of two new Kudos artists, Sally Daniels and Gail Thompson, will be on display. Come see Sally's beautiful earrings, necklaces, and bracelets and Gail's stunning silver and copper jewelry.

Kudos First Friday, Aug 2, 6-9pm, 15 N Main St, Mt. Vernon, OH
Tomorrow night, August 2, is First Friday. The first 20 customers making purchases at Kudos will receive an artsy button created by our wonderful watercolorist, Helen Neumann. Two amazing new artists joined Kudos July 1. Beader Sally Daniels creates classy necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Silver and copper artist Gail Thompson's strongly designed necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings rock.
Join us for refreshments and great, one of a kind art at Kudos, An Artists' Co-op, 15 North Main Street tomorrow night between 6 and 9 pm.
