We have a treat for you -- new stained glass artist Elizabeth Haley just joined Kudos. Come see her striking pieces. Some of our existing artists also have new pieces -- a few are: glass spiral ornaments and glow in the dark pieces by our blown glass artist, Michael Stepanski; beautiful new all occasion cards by fiber artist Linda Shafer; and new pins made of handwoven material and beads by Yorde.

FIRST FRIDAY AT KUDOS, MARCH 1, 6-9PM

Kudos will be open this First Friday, March 1, from 6-9pm.  First Friday is a festive time in Mount Vernon.  Many downtown businesses will be open.  Come join us for refreshments, conversation, and, of course, beautiful one of a kind art made by local artists.

Looking for something special for your Valentine? Come to Kudos, An Artists' Co-op, 15 N Main, Mount Vernon for one of a kind gifts made by our artists. Kudos is open Tuesday thru Saturday, 10a to 5p. This Friday night, Feb 1, Kudos will be open from 6-9 pm along w/many other downtown businesses. In addition to amazing art, Kudos will serve refreshments and feature entertainment by Jimmy Rice who will play guitar and sing lovesongs. Come to Kudos Friday night for a unique Valentine experience.

Hello Friends -- Kudos has a treat for you this First Friday night from 6-9 pm. Jimmy Rice, Jo's Grandson, wilI be performing love songs in celebration of Valentine's Day. Jimmy sings, writes songs, and plays guitar and piano. He started playing guitar and writing songs about two years ago and began playing piano about six months ago. He writes and sings mostly love songs as well as doing covers of other people's songs. Two of his favorite artists to cover are Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. Kudos has joined with many other interesting downtown shops, boutiques, and restaurants to be open every First Friday throughout the winter months. So, kick the winter blahs and join us for refreshments, entertainment and great art this Friday night. See you then.

Kudos, along with many other downtown businesses, will be open First Fridays throughout the year, including all the blustery winter months when something to do can be hard to find.  So, on First Fridays of every month come in out of the cold to Kudos, enjoy refreshments, talking to our artists, and seeing beautiful art created by local artists.  First Friday this month is January 4 from 6-9pm.

Kudos, along with about 15 other downtown businesses, will be open this First Friday of December. Come on out. Kudos, located at 15 N Main, will feature our wonderful soap maker Jami Ingledue. Jami and her beautiful daughter Leah will be performing Xmas music -- Jami guitar and Leah violin. We will have sweets for you and as always awesome one of a kind gifts are available for purchase at reasonable prices. Bring in nonperishable food item(s) for Food for the Hungry Drive and get 10% off or $10 off items over $100. New this Holiday Season are ornaments made by our artists. See you Friday night between 6 and 9 pm.

Kudos also welcomes two artists, Jamie Henry, and her mother, Gretta Gunckel.  Jamie is a returning artist.  She does wonderful paper art including cards and gift bags.  Gretta makes Holiday themed poppers, gift pouches, and other unique items.

Kudos will feature talented artist Ken Shaffer this First Friday.  Ken will be demonstrating his craft on the sidewalk outside Kudos.  Inside, the art of our other 21 artists is on display.  Pieces range in price from $5 to approximately $500 with many items falling in the $25 to $75 range.  If you are looking for a unique gift, Kudos is the place for you.  Come meet Ken and join us for refreshments.  We will have the welcome matt out for you.  There will be many activities going on during First Friday downtown and on the square.
